Beer Citizen App Reviews

Just installed this app. Was looking for a good logging app so I could track the beers I drink and where I drank them. I logged two beers which were in the database. Good. Does not have active search but found them after page load with server. Rating experience was beer lover oriented, full, and took some time. Logging location required that I enable background access all the time not just while I use the app. This is my second beer app review. Strike two on usability. May need to write my own.

Well designed, pleasant to use. Database is not the most complete but is constantly expanding.

Like the interface, very smooth. Good options for social media. Errors pop up any time a search is done. Please revise, looks promising and am very excited about it. Database is very extensive for Canadian brews.

I really appreciate the amount of beer support for Canada. A couple of search bugs; Im confident will get fixed. Reddit loves you.

Cumbersome and complicated. UI needs work. Ill stick with Untappd.

This app is really fun to use at the bar with friends. Its interesting to hear everyones different perceptions of the same beer!

Perfect for reviewing beers on the go, finding out about a beer before you imbibe, and for finding beers that are similar to the one youre enjoying! Great app, great site, keep up the good work guys!

Ive tried dozens if beer apps for rating and discovering beer. All of them have been incomplete in some way - but not Beer Citizen. It has every feature you could want, it runs smoothly, looks beautiful, and features the best reviewing system Ive seen. And its free

Ive tried a few beer apps over the past week and Ive liked this one the best thus far. Clean interface and great way to record the beers and provide an intuitive review. The things Id like to see improve is speed and a means to backup. The app functionality is slow and needs improvement.

LOVE this app and cant believe its free! The sliding toggle bars for beer traits, being able to follow my friends and upload our own brews, as well as the intuitive location finder are all reasons why I think this app blow the competition out of the water. Im a happy beer citizen - cheers!

This app is a must for the big game party on any given Sunday, but especially the super. The beer drinkers in my group think Im a beer genius, cause I now know the hottest beers to serve. Its the best.

Great app for finding beers and reviewing. App constantly temporarily freezes when loading or scrolling pages though. Without this it would be perfect. On iphone 5.

Easy to use with a clean look. Definitely one of the best apps out there!

This app is, overall, very well put together and is a lot of fun to use as a personal reference and as a way to share what brews you are enjoying. Right now it doesnt seem to have many users, which is a shame because I feel like with such a user generated database, if more people contributed, we could have almost every craft brew and brewery covered. My only gripe is that navigation within the app is a bit cumbersome, and could stand for some improvement. Overall, definitely worth picking up if you love your craft brews!

Addicting

Easy to use, straight forward, lots of options, and tons of beer. Just how it should be.

Ive tried a few other beer apps, and this one has become my favorite. The app is easy and fun to use, and fast. Reviewing on Beer Citizen is also fun, with a slider system to make it easy to show the qualities of beers swiftly and accurately. You can go as in depth or not as you want. If it gets a bit more of a local following in my area, it will be perfect!
